IGN posted today an indepth interview with the australian actor Chris Hemsworth who stars as the god of thunder in the upcoming Marvel comic book adaptation.The star shares some nice insights on the production and overall feel of the movie.

Australian actor Chris Hemsworth first came to U.S. audiences' attention as Captain Kirk's brave, but ill-fated dad in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek reboot. But come next month Hemsworth will reach a whole new level of fame as the star of Marvel Studios' Thor.

We spoke exclusively with Hemsworth this week about Thor and reprising the role in next summer's The Avengers, which he said starts filming this month in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
