Just Choopsticks And Stuff

Ign has some interesting news on the upcoming game based movie from fox.Im kinda interested in this movie because the potential the games had,the story in those games is put simply awesome .But if the movies fail in the same department the games did (execution) then i guess there is no justice in this world.

We caught up with Oscar winner Jamie Foxx today at a promotional event on the Fox lot for his upcoming 3D CG-animated film Rio, during which time the actor gave us a brief status update on his long-gestating game-to-film, Kane & Lynch.

Foxx has been attached since last summer to play the psychotic James Lynch to Bruce Willis' "Kane" Marcus in the Lionsgate film, which was supposed to go before cameras last fall only to become indefinitely postponed. But Foxx was adamant that the movie was still happening and that he's still aboard.

"We're doing a couple of rewrites but we're still doing it. And it should be a lot of fun, a lot of action," vowed Foxx.

As far as we know, there's currently no director attached to Kane & Lynch, which has seen a slew of filmmakers mentioned for it over the past year or so.
